All services of PCE, including LILA, are FREE

Since 1982, Pregnancy Center East has been offering a life-giving outreach to anyone experiencing an untimely pregnancy. Over the years, thousands of women have come through the doors of PCE seeking help. PCE offers free pregnancy testing, consultations concerning pregnancy, parenting education, adoption education, medical referrals, referrals for Legal Aid and other social services as well as material assistance (diapers, clothing, formula, baby furniture, etc.)

A significant number of the women coming to PCE were post-abortive and sought healing. In the past, PCE referred these women out and the relationship between PCE and the post-abortive woman ended with respect to her healing.

In December of 2009, thanks to the generosity of an Angel donor, PCE moved from its rented space to its very own location on Edwards Road in Hyde Park. This beautiful new facility includes a chapel, ultrasound room, three counseling rooms, a meeting room as well as ample space for material assistance for clients.

In light of all the blessings bestowed on PCE, the move to the new location inspired those involved with PCE to provide a higher level of service for post-abortive women. The Board of Trustees took an in depth look at post-abortive ministries around the country and in the area to best determine how PCE could provide this ministry. After much research, prayer and consideration, PCE asked Eve Center to be an affiliate. Thus, the affiliation between PCE and Eve Center was begun.

Mission Statement of Pregnancy Center East: Our Mission springs from the God-given dignity of each human life beginning at fertilization: Pregnancy Center East assists anyone who faces difficulties that may arise from an untimely pregnancy, offers life-giving alternatives to abortion, and promotes chastity. The Center also advocates Natural Family Planning.

The Center always adheres to the Catholic Church's teaching on sexuality and abstinence and does not provide referrals for birth control.

PCE is not affiliated with any national organizations. PCE does not receive any federal, state or local government funding. PCE is entirely funded through private donations and grants.
