For Men & Families
Men:
"As I reached out to different people for help, there were few who understood why I was in so much pain. 'Just get over it... it was only an abortion' they would tell me. But I couldn't. It was more than just an abortion. I had lost my child and no one seemed to understand."
(from Fatherhood Forever)
Abortion results in more than one victim. It is not uncommon for the father of the aborted baby to suffer emotionally. Common emotions include guilt over not stopping the abortion or being a party to it, anger toward the mother and sadness over the child the father will never hold. There are programs specifically created to help men recover emotionally and spiritually from an abortion:

Families:
Abortion can detrimentally affect multiple family members... grandparents who will never know their grandchild, siblings who will never share a life with their brother or sisters and even an aunt or uncle who struggles with the loss of their niece or nephew.
There is no shame in talking about your feelings to a trusted family member or your pastor. Abortion can leave a path of destruction and cause a great deal of pain to so many.
